Odette England is a Rhode Island and New York-based photographer and writer. She earned her MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design and her Ph.D. in Art and Art History from the Australian National University. Recent grants and residencies include Light Work, Silver Eye, Artist-in-Residence Fellow at Amherst College, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and Anonymous Was a Woman. Her photographs have been exhibited in more than 100 museums, galleries, and art spaces worldwide. She has published three photo books: Keeper of the Hearth (Schilt), Dairy Character (Saint Lucy Books), and her collaboration with Jennifer Garza-Cuen, Past Paper // Present Marks: Responding to Rauschenberg (Radius Books).
