Photographer Laurie Sieverts Snyder, of Ithaca, NY is an adjunct professor of photography at Tompkins Cortland Community College and has exhibited her work at Cornell University and Juniata College among others.
Snyder's color photographs deal with laundry hung on a clothesline. She regards laundry ' as a form of collage, a moving arrangement of colors and shapes modelled by wind and light, varied by the laundress, the background, the number and tautness of the lines and the changing weather.'
