Joel Swartz, a photographer from Rochester, has made extensive use of the haloid xerox machine; he frequently uses a portable rig of his own invention to produce instant pictures on the street. He will be producing small edition books at the Everson Museum during the 'Alternative Imaging' exhibition that combine his ideas with those of the gallery visitors.
