For six years Boston based photographer Dan Younger has spent his summers documenting the cramped habitations of Finger Lakes summer settlers. During his residency at Light Work last July, Younger enlarged his speculations, seeking out waterfalls in Central New York State Parks. While many will remember the summer of 1988 for poor tomato yields and the aftermath of drought conditions to midwest crops, Younger records the simultaneous vitality of the recreational landscape, where summer vistas evaporate into fantasy before our eyes.
